The short version
BIOLOCK collects no data from you. The App contains no networking code. Nothing leaves your device. This is enforced at compile time, not by a policy promise.
Information the App reads
The App reads three signals locally on your device:
-
Microphone audio — used only to compute the voice-coherence input V(t) in real time. Audio is not stored. Audio is not transmitted.
-
Motion sensor data — read from CoreMotion to compute the motion-stability input ms(t). Motion data is not stored as raw samples. Motion data is not transmitted.
-
Heart-rate variability — read from HealthKit to compute the HRV-coherence input hrvC(t). HRV data is read by the App at runtime and is not transmitted.
The computed steadiness score (PAS_bio) and the session summary (SessionRecord) are saved locally on your device as JSON files in the OS application sandbox.
Information the App does NOT collect
The App does not collect, store, or transmit:
-
Personal identifiers (no name, no email, no account)
-
Contact information
-
Location data
-
Browsing or search history
-
Advertising identifiers
-
Diagnostics or analytics
-
Raw audio recordings
-
Raw motion samples
-
Raw HRV samples beyond what's needed for real-time computation
How the App enforces "no transmission"
The App's source tree includes a compile-time build-phase script that fails the build if any of the following symbols appears in the Swift source:
import Network, URLSession, Socket, Stream, NSStream, HTTPClient, URLRequest, Firebase, CloudKit, AWS, Amplitude, Mixpanel
This means the App that you install from the App Store is the same App that was built — and that App has no way to send data anywhere.
In the App Store privacy nutrition label, all 14 data categories are set to "Data Not Collected."
Local storage
Session records are saved as JSON files in the OS application sandbox at:
~/Library/Application Support/BIOLOCK/{uuid}.json
These files contain the time series of the steadiness score, the drift derivative, and the corrective values for one session. They contain no personal identifiers.
When you delete the App, the OS deletes these files automatically.
Sharing
If you wish to share a session record with a third party (for example, a clinician or researcher), the App exposes a local file URL that you can pass to the iOS share sheet. The share sheet is provided by the operating system; the App itself does not perform the transmission. You initiate and authorize any such sharing.
Your rights
Because the App collects no personal data, there is nothing to access, delete, or opt out of beyond what the iOS Settings app already controls (HealthKit, Microphone, Motion & Fitness permissions, and on-device storage).

Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. The App collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last Updated" date. Because the App is shipped with no networking code, policy changes here cannot retroactively transmit your data — the App you installed cannot do so by construction.
Patent reference and licensing
BIOLOCK is the reduction-to-practice of Israeli Patent Application No. 328645, filed at the Israel Patent Office on 25 May 2026 by Yehudah Shilo Groskin.
The patent specification, drawings, and accompanying source materials are protected under the Berne Convention. The App's source code is proprietary.
