This Privacy Policy describes how Joshua 2.0 (the "App") handles information when you use it.
The App is developed and operated by Yehudah Shilo Groskin ("we", "us") in Jerusalem, Israel.
1. Summary
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or health data from this App. Everything Joshua 2.0 measures and computes stays on your device. Period.
2. What the App accesses on your device
With your explicit permission through Apple HealthKit, Joshua 2.0 reads the following from Apple Watch and iPhone, only while you are using the App:
- Heart-rate variability (SDNN)
- ECG R-R interval data
- Wrist temperature
- Blood oxygen (SpO₂)
- Blood pressure (when an Omron cuff is paired)
- Motion and accelerometer data, used as a stillness gate
These readings are processed live on your device to compute the V(s) consciousness validation score and related metrics. They are never sent to our servers, because we do not operate any servers that receive your data.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data — we do not have any to sell.
- We do not share your data with advertisers, analytics providers, or any third party.
- We do not use cookies or tracking pixels in the App.
- We do not embed third-party SDKs that collect data.
- We do not require an account, sign-in, or email address.
4. HealthKit specifically
Apple HealthKit governs how the App may use the data you grant it. The App does not write, export, or transmit HealthKit data outside your device — except for one optional feature: when explicitly enabled, the App may write an algorithm-predicted blood-pressure value back to your own HealthKit store on your device, for your own clinical reference. This write is local-only.
5. On-device storage
Any session history, settings, or computed scores Joshua 2.0 saves are stored locally on your iPhone or Apple Watch using Apple's standard storage mechanisms. If you delete the App, that data is removed from your device by iOS as part of normal app deletion.
6. Subscriptions and payment
Joshua 2.0 offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions. All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, billing address, or full Apple ID. Apple shares with us only anonymous transaction confirmations needed to unlock subscription content.
7. Children
The App is rated 4+ on the App Store but is intended for adult self-observation. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children, and the App's no-collection design means none can be collected by us. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has somehow provided us with personal data, please contact us at the address below — although by design there is no data for us to delete from our side, beyond what the user can clear by uninstalling the App.
8. International users — GDPR and CCPA
Because we do not collect personal data, the rights granted by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — including the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data — are satisfied by the simple fact that we hold no data on you. To remove all App-related data from your device, uninstall the App. iOS will clear it.
9. Security
Because data never leaves your device, the security of your information depends primarily on your device's security: your iOS passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and your Apple ID protections. We recommend keeping iOS up to date.

Joshua 2.0 implements a framework with patents pending IL-317301, IL-320503, and IL-322682, owned by the developer.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced inside the App.
